You don’t need to be part of Cornerstone to come along. Any student who needs help with homework, studying, or learning something is welcome. Students should tell their friends and bring them along! Parents are encouraged to come along to see how Homework Club works. Contact us if you have any questions.Contact
Homework Club is Cornerstone’s effort to help the youth at our church, and also in our general community. First, we provide a fresh, well-rounded, home-cooked meal, including vegetarian options. Afterwards, our volunteers provide guidance by assisting students with any homework, studying, or learning they might have.
Students should bring their homework with them every week, and should expect an environment that best helps them; some students prefer working alone, a few of them only like a small amount of guidance, and others need a more direct one-on-one approach. Students that consistently stay focused and on-task are rewarded with prizes.
Between the delicious food (and dessert!), occasional game and movie nights, and volunteer speakers, Homework Club is a great way for students to make friends, learn, and be rewarded for their hard work.

Our Children’s Sunday School is a welcoming environment where kids can learn about how God loves them, and how to have a personal relationship with Him. Visual aids, craft activities, storytelling, play, and Bible reading are ways we engage with children. We separate kids into two classes: preschool for ages 1 to 5, or elementary for ages 6 to 12. Contact us if you have any questions.Contact
We use a room packed with toys and books. We begin with supervised play, followed by storytelling, music, and books to teach simple biblical truths. We end with a simple craft activity, or more playtime.
We begin with sharing what we are thankful for and praying for specific needs mentioned by the kids, which mirrors the group prayer time in the adult service. We then tell a Bible story using helpful visual aids, and kids have the opportunity to read from the Bible. Finally, we consolidate what we've learned through creative activities such as arts, crafts, quizzes, and puzzles.
Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Youth camps offer an incredible and unique outdoor faith-forming experience. These camps are for young people ranging from kindergarten age all the way to grade 12. For those that need it, Cornerstone provides assistance for camp registration fees.
